Spinach, Tomato, Bacon and Cheese Twists

 

These twists are delicious and easy to make!

You will need the following ingredients:

– 1 pizza dough weighing about 250 gr / 9 oz

– 1 cup of shredded mozzarella

– 2 cups of fresh spinach

– 1 can of tomato paste

– 1/2 cup of crispy bacon, chopped up.

Recipe:

1 ) Fire the oven to pizza temp, between 700 F and 900 F.

2) Roll the dough ball out into a large, flat rectangle

3) Cut the rectangle in half, longways.

4) Spread the tomato paste on one of the pieces of dough

5) Layer the shredded cheese, fresh spinach, and bacon over the tomato paste.

6) Place the other piece of dough gently on top and roll with a rolling pin

7)  Slice horizontally into strips about 1 inch wide

8)  Place the strips on top of each other, stacked two high.

9) Twist the pieces together, in a spiral shape.

10) Place onto a baking tray and bake until golden brown.
