Our dome thermometer was designed to measure the temperature of the oven in the most accurate way.
With a 16″ long probe, the thermometer takes the temperature 2″ into the thickness of the dome materials. This is called the “Core Temperature” or “Stable Temperature”.
Whether you have removed the fire or the fire is still burning, you will always know the exact temperature at which you will be cooking, regardless of whether the door is open or closed.
The 2″ dial allows you to easily read the temperature in Fahrenheit (0°F to 900°F) and Celsius (0°C to 500°C)
