Brick Oven Lamb Stew

This recipe for Brick Oven Lamb Stew is delicious and easy to make in your wood-fired oven, perfect for any dinner!


  • Lamb Stew Meat
  • Onions
  • Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Thyme
  • Garlic
  • Carrots
  • Beef Broth
  • Butter
  • Flour



  1. Oil a cast iron pan.
  2. Add lamb stew meat to the skillet.
  3. Add the onions, carrots, garlic, salt, pepper and thyme to the skillet. Mix it all together.
  4. Add the skillet to a hot oven to sauté the meat and vegetables together.
  5. Remove from the oven once the meat is browned and the onions are caramelized, and mix.
  6. Add the potatoes and mix again.
  7. Add salt, pepper and beef broth.
  8. Cover the skillet in foil and place it back in the oven.
  9. Cook for about an hour at 350 degrees, or until the potatoes are soft.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve.
