Customer Feature: StillFire Brewing

Nestled in the heart of the community at 343 US Highway 23, StillFire Brewing honors its roots as the former Fire Station 13 in a truly unique way—by converting a classic fire engine into a one-of-a-kind pizza truck. The choice of address isn’t just memorable; it pays homage to the 343 brave firefighters who lost their lives during the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. Every slice served from this truck is a nod to the local firehouse history and the heroic legacy of first responders.

To bring this vision to life, StillFire Brewing brought on board Delorian Ostrom, a talented entrepreneur who owns Southern Grace—a beloved local biscuit company. Known for his passion for good food and wholesome ingredients, Delorian took on the challenge of creating the perfect pizza dough for StillFire Brewing’s new venture, now known as “Fire and Grace.” Drawing from his experience in dough-making, Delorian and his team developed a delicious menu of pizzas, subs, and garlic knots, bringing high-quality fare to the StillFire community six days a week.

A bit of background: Delorian’s culinary journey began in 2018, driven by a desire to teach his daughters how to eat healthy even on busy schedules. What started as meal kits soon transformed into the Southern Grace food truck, where he serves up delightful biscuits and breakfasts at the farmers’ market every other Saturday during the summer. Delorian’s dedication to healthy eating extends beyond his own business; he even provides nutritious school lunches for a local school.

Since its debut in March 2024, the “Fire and Grace” food truck has become a weekend sensation, often selling over 150 pizzas. The operation has grown to include a close-knit team of five employees, each as passionate about pizza as Delorian himself. His personal favorite? The barbeque chicken pizza, a fan favorite that’s packed with flavor and flair.

The food truck itself is a marvel. The 1982 Ford 8000 Fire Engine doesn’t just house a The Bread Stone Ovens Company pizza oven—it also boasts eight beer taps! This ingenious setup means patrons can enjoy freshly tapped beer with their favorite pizza, straight from the fire engine’s onboard wood-fired oven.

Whether it’s the aroma of sizzling pizza or the comforting chill of a freshly poured beer, “Fire and Grace” serves up a truly unforgettable experience. Here’s to StillFire Brewing, Delorian, and the team for crafting this community-focused, innovative approach to pizza and keeping the firehouse spirit alive in the tastiest way possible!

StillFire Brewing is located in Suwanee, GA.
