How to make strawberry mouses cake
Ingredients Crust:
- 60 gr of flour
- 30 gr butter
- 60 gr of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 375 F
- In a mixing bowl whisk the eggs and the sugar. Bit till it triples in size
- Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt
- Fold in the melted butter
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brownÂ
Fraisier / Raspberry Mousse Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 pints of strawberries
- 150 gr of sugar
- 350 ml of heavy whipping cream
- 1 pack of gelatin
Recipe:
- Rinse and remove all the stems from the strawberries
- Combine in a sauce pan 1 pint of strawberries with the sugar. Bring it to a gentle boil for 10 minutes. Then blend with an immersion blender
- Add the gelatine a little at a time and mix well
- Put it to cool in the fridge or in an ice bath
- Whip the cream into whipped cream
- Fold the whipped cream with the cooled strawberry coolie
- Layer the cake starting with one cake, place a few strawberries, add about half the cream,
- Add another layer of the cake, place strawberries and the resto the cream
- Put to rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Decorate with more strawberries and put back in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours before serving
